Job Purpose:

The main purpose of the role is to assist the VAT/AVP-Taxation with the provision of tax guidance and assistance to Jetex head office and Jetex World's global business units over a board range of tax matters (direct and indirect) and assist in ta x advisory and planning projects. Ensure compliance with applicable direct and indirect tax laws


Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain understanding of applicable Taxes to the JETEX Group. (Mainly sales & corporate taxes).
  • Assist with timely preparation and filing of tax returns for all types of taxes for the Group and its subsidiaries.
  • Identify potential contentious VAT issues/interpretation of law. Obtain clarity and ensure resolution.
  • Keep updated on local and international tax developments that effect the Jetex Group.
  • Support the Tax and finance team in all tax compliance and reporting activities as requested. This includes working with the external tax consultants to fulfill their requirements in relation to any tax audits/inspections being conducted.
  • Assist with creating transfer pricing policies, developing and maintaining the documentation and update the policies;
  • Conduct research and review tax laws to support tax positions taken by the Group
  • (Assist with key projects that are allocated by the VAT/AVP-Taxation)

Requirements:

Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred in Finance/Account)
Experience
  • 2 years' experience in TAX
Skillset 
  • Professional in IT Skills (MS Office database management).
  • Knowledge in CRM software is an advantage
  • Accounting software knowledge.
  • Fluent in English.
