ABOUT THE ROLE

The Operations Officer reports to the Operations Supervisors. This role will consist of managing and dealing with emails in a timely manner, answering phone calls and using in-house software. On the day to day running of the operation, staff will be required to perform flexible duties as directed by the line manager. With an open plan office, operation staff will often interact with crew over the radio and face to face taking payments and answering any questions, therefore aviation experience is preferable. You will also be liaising with third parties to organize the smooth running of the operations..

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITES

  • Safety of team and equipment/assets at all times.
  • Must display the highest level of customer service to all clients by maintaining pleasant, professional, friendly and outgoing attitude. 
  • Wing walking and marshalling to ensure safe services.
  • Required to wear and maintain a professional uniform as supplied by Jetex along with PPE.
  • Use GTM to update/view/assist handling requests, special requests and fuelling services.
  • Coordinate with the Duty Officer on customer requests, questions, and needs maintain continuous quality services.
  • Assist Duty Officer to coordinate the client's complaints.
  • Operate office equipment to include but not limited to air-to-ground radios (base station), ground radios, GTM systems, computers and phones as required.
  • Provide current airport information for crew and passengers (weather/flights plan, locations, services etc.).
  • Knowledge of Customer Service should include assisting customers with hotel reservations, ground transportation, catering, limo service, local attractions, activities and other functions that will be helpful to the clients.
  • Follow safety regulations, company policies, and guidelines from Jetex/London Airports.
  • Any other duties assigned by Line Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

High school education

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1-2 years experience in aviation / airline / hotel industry/hospitality preferred.

 Knowledge of another language is a big plus

SPECIFIC / TECHNICAL SKILLS

Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent in customer service.

Good knowledge in IT Skills (MS Office database management).

Professional look.

Full Driving License

Right to work in UK
