Department Overview:
The HR & Admin Department manages the full employee lifecycle and provides comprehensive administrative support across the organization. This includes workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee relations, and compliance with UK labour regulations. The department also supports HR operations, documentation, payroll coordination, and organizational development, while ensuring alignment with company policies and strategic objectives.

Job Purpose:

The HR Business Partner will act as a key point of contact for all HR and administrative matters at the London Biggin Hill Airport location. The role is responsible for delivering the full scope of HR functions, partnering closely with business leaders to support operational and strategic objectives. The HRBP will oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and learning and development. In addition, the role ensures compliance with UK employment laws and company policies, supports administrative operations, and drives employee engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness.



Key Responsibilities:

HR Business Partnering & Employee Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on all HR-related matters
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR systems, and documentation
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and internal mobility initiatives
  • Monitor employee engagement, feedback, and retention trends, recommending improvements

Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify hiring needs and ensure timely recruitment
  • Build relationships with recruitment agencies and external partners
  • Support onboarding processes, including inductions and documentation

Performance & Employee Relations

  • Manage and support the performance appraisal process
  • Advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
  • Act as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll

  • Review and validate payroll in coordination with Finance
  • Support compensation and benefits administration in line with company policy
  • Provide HR reporting, including headcount, costs, and key HR metrics

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure compliance with UK labour law and statutory requirements
  • Draft, review, and update HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure all HR practices align with internal policies and regulatory standards

HR Operations & Administration

  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Support administrative functions, including travel coordination and vendor management where required
  • Collaborate with HQ on HR initiatives, reporting, and alignment with global standards
  • Support HR transformation and digitalization initiatives

Requirements
Qualification
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or a related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a fast-paced, operational environment
Skillset

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and job portals
  • Familiarity with HR systems / ATS platforms
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
